Cozy, Juicy, Real

Cozy, Juicy, Real

We settled down to play a new game. This time it was called Cozy
Juicy Real. The name was a little off putting, I wasn't sure what to expect.

Inside, is a central square board with a different colored cards that each have a question where the player can answer accordingly their comfort level. For those that like a bit of structure to their lives, CJR is a way of getting to know your team mates in a deeper way and build connections.

We played in a group of 4, which for me felt a good number. 2 - 8 players can play and it will take anywhere from 45 mins to 2 hours. I was skeptical that it would take that long, but what works really well in CJR, is a nugget of insight can be revealed and it prompts more discussion. Follow players can give you a high 5 card to show support or change the focus to another player with a 'what about you?' card

Instead of being a series of questions like in an interview format, this game gives you scope to get into conversations that you wouldn't normally have. For example, one moment you

might on the cozy questions and be talking about a new skill you'd love to possess and then the juicy card will 'if you found a crystal ball and could ask any question in the world and know the answer, what would it be? '

Activity cards and guessing cards keep things fresh. It's a game that will be coming out again, when you want to mix things up again have a talk on a different level.
